As the title role in the PBS-TV adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fable "Jack and the Dentist's Daughter" (CINE Golden Eagle Award) - to future work as an ensemble player on the syndicated "Apollo Comedy Hour," along with featured appearances on "Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU," and in director Spike Lee's epic "Malcolm X," Kent Jackman's acting career has included a range of performances in both comedies and dramas. Kent graduated from Howard University's College of Fine Arts - where he was a directing major in the drama department, served as president of the prestigious Howard Players, and supplemented his theater training (as a work-study student) in the School of Communications. This veteran actor's comprehensive training has included productions in repertory, regional, improvisational, and touring theater companies.
