Dora Ivanciuc was born in 1949 in Bucharest. She finished Acting at the Institutul de Arta Teatrala si Cinematografica "Ion Luca Caragial" (IATC) Bucharet, in 1970, at professor's George Carabin class. The first three years she played at the Theatre in Târgu Mures, but after 1973 she appeared only in the role as the "Beautiful Girl" in "Duhul Audurului" ("Der Fluch des Goldes", "The Curse of the Gold") directed by Mircea Veroiu, and made two more roles in Theatres. In 1976 she married director Andrei Belgrader and emigrated in 1980 to the United Statele Unite, settling in New York. After divorce in 1983, starting from 1985, she taught Acting in Copenhaga, Danemark, but returned in 2010 to Romania, living again in Bucharest.
