Born in Kråkstad, Akershus Norway in 1879, her parents were shoemaker Hans Kristiansen and Elise (Lisa) Jansen. By her marriage to the newspaper man, and theater manager, Jørgen Jansen Fuhr, (d.1930) she entered the theater in the Sagene community of Oslo. She played at her husband's companies in Oslo, and on tours, and she became very popular. In 1912 she even played the title role in the film: Anny - a street girl's novel, and received good publicity. Divorced from her husband, she continued for some years as an actress, but around 1917 she became a cafe hostess. She died shortly before Christmas in 1947, aged 68.
