Jef Judin is a filmmaker, director and producer, recipient of two Emmy awards for his work on critically acclaimed documentaries, Return to the River and Richard Wright- Black Boy. Judin began producing and directing in Los Angeles in 1982. His first project Read-A-Vision provided literacy enhancing skills via video. In 1986, he was integral in starting the Highland Entertainment Complex, an incubator for independent Hollywood production companies, Judin served as production manager for the 26 part series "Hollywood Chronicles" for the Discovery Channel. In 1991 he was appointed head of production for PBS in Mississippi. He collaborated with the BBC to produce Richard Wright- Black Boy, a reflection on one of Mississippi's most talented writers, , and Return to the River, an exploration into the history of the music and culture along the Mississippi River, narrated by James Earl Jones. In 1996 Judin served as Manager of Production for Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting (Orange Bowl) In 2000 partners Jai Bhagat & Jef started AIR2LAN the 1st high-speed wireless Internet provider in the US. In 2001 he started 4Tell Films, producing diverse projects/documentaries such as Project Safe Neighborhoods (U.S. Justice Department) Bobby Rush: Live at Ground Zero, a blues concert film shot in actor Morgan Freeman's juke joint. In 2005, Jef produced The Keys to the Quarter; a documentary on the legendary French Quarter. He later produced Polar Dreams and Trekking the Gobi, featuring celebrated explorer and wildlife photographer, Helen Thayer. With his 4Tell Films production team, Jef pioneered work in the field of Childhood Obesity prevention producing music and movement exercise programs utilized in every K-5 Mississippi classroom, Having enjoyed three fruitful decades of success in film production and life, Jef's goal is now to share his unique journey and philosophy, and to provide the same mental and spiritual clarity to live with the mindful attitude of gratitude
