Elina Katsioula

Elina was born, raised, and classically trained in Athens, Greece, where she first received her BFA in Painting & Drawing from the Athens Polytechnic Institute, followed by a degree in Stage Design. After immigrating to the United States to further pursue her studies, she graduated from the Yale School of Drama with an MFA, also in Stage Design. She began her career in Los Angeles as an Art Director in television. Remaining loyal to stage design she has designed over 25 plays also co-designed numerous rock concerts, including Janet Jackson's Tour, Madonna's Blond Ambition, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney. Her live events range from themed weddings for Saudi Arabia's Royal family to Steve Wyrick's Magic Show at the Sahara Casino in Las Vegas. Elina draws artistic fulfillment from any design challenge and enjoys equally creating vivid environments for film, television and stage shows.
