Born in Oklahoma City, adopted at about one year old, raised in Norman, Oklahoma from age 7 to 23. Studied and inspired at Oklahoma University under Professor Colonel Charles "Ned" Hockman. Moved to Los Angeles in 1979 with intentions of staying one summer to scope things out and then returning to finish college at Oklahoma University. That summer ended up lasting over twenty years. After becoming a Dad on Christmas day of 1998 he decided to raise his daughter back at his quaint little hometown of Norman, Oklahoma. As of 2011 he is freelancing and teaching Advanced Audio at Oklahoma University.
