Montes-Bradley is a documentarian known for his personal biographical work on distinguished writers and intellectuals, and for museum-style content commissioned by James Madison Montpellier, the University of Virginia, and UCLA-UNESCO among others. Montpelier's engagement received multiple National awards for "The Mere Distinction of Colour", an exhibit about the enslaved workers at Montpelier. Montes-Bradley has also created documentary films on Civil Rights activist Julian Bond and US Poet Laureate Rita Dove. These, as well as several other of his films, have been aired on PBS stations in New York, Virginia, Florida, and Colorado. "Che Rise & Fall", a biographical portrayal of Ernesto Guevara, was produced by Montes-Bradley for NatGeo. Other documentary work was also shown on Discovery, and History Channel Europe. Montes-Bradley collaborated as a lead documentarian with the President's Commission on Slavery and the University (PCSU) creating a visual survey and short films about the research conducted by the Commission. For the last seven years, he was responsible for the UVA-School of Medicine account at HFP and personally responsible for the creation of 60 hours of content for the departments of Urology and ENT in English, Chinese and Spanish language. The latter work is partially kept at the Claud Moore Health and Science Library under the Eduardo Montes-Bradley Collection.
