Marcus Monroe was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 2, 1985. In 1999 he co-starred with Ian Holm (Lord of the Rings) in Wisconsin Death Trip. After Marcus finished high school he moved to New York to peruse a career in TV and juggling. As a professional juggler he has opened for bands such as: Hanson, B2K, Vi3, Aimee Mann, The BoDeans, Cake, Ben Jelen, Gavin DeGraw, and Ryan Cabrera. He was cast at the host of Discovery Kid's Mad Science. He was featured in ABC Family's Switched and was also a guest on MTV's TRL. Recently he was a part of Eastsport backpack's 2006-2007 Back to School campaign along with Nick Cannon, FeFe Dobson and Ben Jelen. Marcus is the creator of the "knorch" a juggling prop combining a knife and a torch. He is the World's Best Knorch Juggler. In the summer of 2006 Marcus went on a 6 city tour of the Mid-west with juggling superstar Jay Gilligan and Erik Aberg of Sweeden. Currently, Marcus is studying at Hunter College in New York City during the day. At night Marcus is playing to audiences in venues such as The Knitting Factory and The Cutting Room in NYC. He is trained by Sean Blue.
