Ogai Mori was born on February 17, 1862 in Tsuwano, Shimane, Japan. He was a writer, known for Sansho the Bailiff (1954), Takasebune (1930) and Gan (1953). He was married to Mori Shigeru and Akamatsu Toshiko. He died on July 9, 1922 in Tokyo, Japan.
