Rodrigo Moreno

Director, screenwriter, producer and teacher. He studied at the Universidad del Cine, where he teaches, and his films deal with both documentary and fiction, and he is one of the leading figures of auteur cinema in Latin America. His films illustrate a singular look at life, combining everyday aspects with atypical, almost magical connections. He claims to have an artisanal approach to his productions, as he is part of the whole process of making them, paying close attention to every formal and conceptual detail, prioritizing artistic needs over industrial ones. He is also a member of Revista de Cine, where he publishes every year. His films have been recognized at festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Sundance, San Sebastian, Mar del Plata and Guadalajara, among others.
