As a producer and production manager, Brent Morris has been credited on over fifty feature films which include the Patty Jekins/Charlize Theron bio-drama Monster, Lenny Abrahamson's Frank, and Smoke Signals, winner of both the audience and filmmakers' trophy awards at Sundance. Recently he served as UPM on Amblin's upcoming BIOS, starring Tom Hanks. He also line produced Vincent D'Onofrio's The Kid, the HBO immigration story Icebox and the veteran road movie Sgt. Will Gardner. He was the UPM for the NM stunt unit of Too Old To Die Young, Ric Roman Waugh's Shot Caller, Disney Channel's Lemonade Mouth and 20th Century Fox's Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. He produced Alan Jacobs' hard-hitting drama American Gun, featuring James Coburn's final performance, and Tony Cookson's romantic comedy Love Happens. In 2007 he formed Indieproduction, LLC to foster new projects including the feature documentaries Made in New Mexico and Flamenco School, which he produced and co-directed. He recently completed directing, writing and performing in the short-film anthology Pandemic Response, an artistic collaboration during the Covid-19 industry shutdown. After graduating with a B.A. in theater arts from UCLA, Brent founded the ensemble Rough Theater which produced innovative works in Los Angeles theaters and public spaces. He entered the film industry as a story analyst and producers' assistant at Indian Neck Entertainemnt and spent three years as an associate producer on a slate of films for Ashok Amritraj prior to line producing the action-thriller Temptation for Dino De Laurentiis Entertainment. Films have taken him all over the U.S. and abroad to Romania, Canada and Mexico. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
