Vladimir Msryan was a stage and film actor known for the leading role in Nicolo Paganini (1982). He was born in Vladikavkaz, Soviet Union, on March 12, 1938. From 1958 * 62 he studied acting at Yerevan Institute of Theatre and Arts, graduating in 1962 as actor. In 1964-66 he was member of the troupe at Yerevan Russian Drama Theatre named after Stanislavski. From 1966 to 2010, Msryan was permanent member of the troupe at Yerevan Drama Theatre - the national stage company of Armenia. There he made memorable performances as Hamlet in the Shakespeare's classic play. He also appeared in many other classical and contemporary plays. Vladimir Msryan was designated Peoples Actor of Armenia. He received recognition in the former Soviet Union for his portrayal of Niccolo Paganini in the popular biopic series. During his acting career, he played leading and supporting roles in 19 movies and also appeared in more than 50 stage productions, vainly in Armenia. Vladimir Msryan died of natural causes on August 24, 2010, and was laid to rest in Yerevan, Armenia.
