Irish American character actor Stephen Joseph Scott was most recently cast in the role of the sadistic Camp Cook in the third season of AMC Networks' INTO THE BADLANDS (directed by James Marshall) which will continue to film in Ireland until April 2018. Stephen was also recently cast in the principal role of Timothy Geithner (U.S. Treasury Secretary under President Barack Obama) for a Whitefriar Films Production of THE BAILOUT (a two part dramatic series) which focuses on the global financial crisis of 2008: The dramatic story of how the battle to save Ireland's economic sovereignty was fought, and lost. Directors: Conall Morrison and John Comiskey. Screenwriter: Colin Murphy. Producer: John Kelleher Media. Broadcaster: TV3 Ireland. Stephen studied with legendary teachers Alan Langdon, Uta Hagen and Terry Hayden at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Circle in the Square Studios. He performed the role of the Lieutenant in GUNSLINGER'S REVENGE starring Harvey Keitel and David Bowie and appeared in DAYLIGHT with Viggo Mortensen directed by Rob Cohen. He played the role of Harry Feist, the Austrian dancer, in the feature film CELLULOIDE directed by famed Italian director Carlo Lizzani starring Giancarlo Giannini, Lina Sastri and Christopher Walken. Stephen also co-starred in UNKNOWN SOLDIER as Captain Pringle with Academy Award winning actor Martin Balsam, cameo-ed as the Italian reporter in the HBO film EXCELLENT CADAVERS with Chazz Palminteri and has performed guest roles on various TV series including THE CITY for ABC Network NYC. He has also has performed in multiple stage productions in New York City and he has worked extensively as a voice over actor for the Vatican Radio series "The Bible" directed by Irish Director Sean Lovett plus many animation and feature films such as THE LEGEND OF 1900 with famed voice-over director Nick Alexander. Stephen is also an accomplished songwriter and musician. He sings, plays guitar and mandolin, and is the winner of the Detroit Music Awards best album and People Choice Award 2014.
