Corin Nelson

Five-time Emmy Award-winning producer Corin Nelson (Curly One Productions, Inc.) has served as Creator, Executive Producer and Showrunner for numerous talk, comedy, LIVE event broadcasts, game show pilots and series. Recently, Nelson served as showrunner and Executive Producer of "Holidays With The Houghs" an NBC Holiday Special (2099) and is in production (2019 - 2020) on season 1 of "Sexology With Shan Boodram" for quibi -- a series she created and her production company, Curly One Productions is producing. Prior to these two projects, she was Executive Producer & Showrunner of "The Drew Barrymore" talk-show pilot & sales tape for CBS which was immediately sold into syndication for 2020. She was also the Executive Producer & Showrunner of "Make Up or Break Up" -- the first, Live series on Facebook's Watch platform. Ms. Nelson also developed and was Executive Produced & showrunner for both seasons of "Syfy Live From Comic-Con", the annual 3-Day, LIVE broadcast event from Comic Con San Diego for the SYFY network. Curly One Productions is a full-service production company specializing in creating & producing premium unscripted programming across multiple platforms. Curly One is known for developing original formats ranging from LIVE series & Special Broadcast Events to game shows, talk, late-night, and comedy. They are the trailblazers that new platforms trust to lead the way, as the creators of the first ever, live, interactive series for Facebook Watch and Quibi's Flagship relationship, sex and dating show. Curly One's projects have won multiple Emmys and been broadcast on NBC, CBS, ABC, E!, FOX, USA, Syfy, WEtv, Facebook Watch, Quibi and in syndication. In addition, Nelson executive produced and served as showrunner on "According To Chrisley" (the companion show for the hit series, "Chrisley Knows Best") on usa network. Plus, she recently served as Executive Producer and Showrunner for the family-friendly game show, "Big Star Little Star" on usa network. Prior to that, she served as executive producer and showrunner of the pilot and series, "Geeks Who Drink", a the late-night, comedic game show for SYFY and she created "Hacking Robot" (USA)- the after show for Mr. Robot's 2nd season on usa network. Ms. Nelson created, launched and Executive Produced the wildly successful late-night talk show "Chelsea Lately" (E!), and served as Executive Producer and Showrunner for for 5 seasons of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" (ABC/syndicated) as well as many other series including: "It's On With Alexa Chung" (MTV), "The Queen Latifah Show" (pilot & Season 1), "The Tyra Banks Show" pilot (Telepictures), "The Nate Berkus Show" (Season 2 re-launch) and "What's My Line?" pilot (Fremantle NA). Nelson and Curly One Productions have also held overall production and development deals at Telepictures, NBC Universal Domestic Syndication, MTV, and Sony Pictures Television. Earlier in her career, Nelson developed & executive Executive Produced several productions at VH1 for several years where she created and produced original programming (which she sold to the network) and supervised production of the network's hit franchise, "VH1 Goes Inside." Nelson began her career in entertainment publicity, running the New York and Los Angeles publicity departments for Columbia Pictures, Tri-Star Pictures, Gramercy Pictures and Savoy Pictures.
