Angie Nolan

Born and raised in BC, Canada, Angie got her start in TV as a teenager when she landed a production assistant job on The Beachcombers. After high school and college she continued to work in the industry in front and behind camera in a variety of roles. After a few life 'inciting incidents', Angie rethought the course of her career and decided to dive head first into the more creative side of filmmaking. Since then she has written, directed and acted in a number of her own projects. Angie recently stepped down as Director of Industry Programming at the Whistler Film Festival after working on there on the Industry Programming team for 14 years. She has left to pursue writing and directing full time. Angie is also the recent recipient of the both the 2018 Women in Film & Television Vancouver's Spotlight Awards (CA) - Leadership in Education Award and the 2018 Whistler Excellence Awards (CA): Champion of Arts and Culture Award.
