Sergey Nikitin

Sergei Yakovlevich Nikitin was born in 1944 in Moscow. In the 1960's he graduated in Phyisics from the Mocsow State University where he led the student vocal ensemble (including 3 years after his graduation). Tatyana Nikitina (maiden name Tatyana Sadykova) was "his best and most talented pupil". The couple married. During the 1960's-1980's Sergei Nikitin and Tatyana worked in a physical science institute, sang Sergei Nikitin' songs to the lyrics of Russian poets and became one of the most renowned Russian bards.
