John Oakley

Begin Taekwondo martial arts training in August of 1981 while attending University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Has been lucky enough to have trained with and learned from some remarkable martial artists. Continued to look for those he can learn from and enjoy sharing all that he has learned with others. Began his journey in Hapkido training later on in life. The initial entry into it was around the 1990's. He recently earned a 3rd Dan in Hapkido and holds a 6th Dan in Taekwondo. He and his business partner have a 12,000 SF facility located in a small town (La Vergne) southeast of Nashville, TN. They run both traditional TKD and Hapkido night classes as well as a large After School program with Summer Camps and Break Camps throughout the school year.
