Born in Taiwan, Lung Fei starred in a multitude of films in Hong Kong and other Asian cinema markets throughout the 1970s and '80s. Appearing primarily in martial arts films, he is perhaps best known for his portrayals of thick bearded or mustached villains. He appeared in several films opposite Jimmy Wang Yu (Jimmy Wang Yu) including Beach of the War Gods (1973) (Beach of the Wargods), Wang Yu, King of Boxers (1972) (The Screaming Tiger), Master of the Flying Guillotine (1976) (Master of the Flying Guillotine) and the hit kung-fu film, The Savage Killers (1976) (Tiger and Crane Fist aka The Savage Killers). Tiger and Crane Fist was later spoofed in Steve Oedekerk's chop-socky comedy, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) in which Fei's charater's name is changed to "Betty." Some of Fei's other notable roles include appearances in Sheng jian feng yun (1977) (Imperial Sword) with Ling Chia (aka Gia Ling/Chia Ling/Judy Lee), Shaolin Traitor (1977) (Shaolin Traitor) with the legendary Carter Wong and Polly Ling-Feng Shang-Kuan (Polly Shang Kuan), Dual Flying Kicks (1978) (Dual Flying Kicks) with marital arts mule-kicker, "Delon" Tao-Liang Tan. With the decline of the martial arts genre during the early 1990's, Lung Fei retired from acting after 20 years and over 100 films. He has since made only minor appearances in film and television.
