He's the author of 'The New Dad's Survival Guide' (Little, Brown and Co.) and co-author of 'Battle Ready: Memoir of a SEAL Warrior Medic' (St. Martin's Press), now in development as a dramatic series. Scott's films include 'Murph: The Protector,' a feature documentary based on the life of LT Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life for his men during the Lone Survivor mission in 2005. MURPH was a contender for the Oscar in several categories and debuted at #1 on iTunes, Amazon and other platforms and stayed in the top twenty for nearly a year. He also wrote, produced and directed 'Ride for Lance,' a tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Chief Lance Vaccaro, distributed globally by Lionsgate. Prior to launching his company in 2002, he crewed on several dozen big-budget Hollywood features and series in various capacities ranging from production assistant to grip to stunt performer. His national media appearances include Fox and Friends, MSNBC, PBS, and NBC, and he has spoken at businesses and universities across the country, including Penn State and The University of Virginia. Scott holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and a Professional Certification in Film Production from New York University. He coaches varsity soccer and volunteers for veterans organizations and the JCOC Food Bank.
