Signed in film industry at age 16, thanks to winning the contest Maja de Madrid (1956) and Hispamex Films selecting her to be the star of the film "Roberto el diablo (Robert the Devil)", thus turning her into one of the most characteristic naive Spanish cinema stars of the late 50s with the stage name Mari Conchi Mahor. She began to undergo professional decline around 1965, due to physical changes which didn't fit the naive young woman image anymore and changes in Spanish moviegoers interests.
