Marie-Noelle Marquis was born in Riviere-du-loup, Quebec, Canada. After studying theatre at St-Hyacinthe college, she moved to Los Angeles and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (graduated 1999). While she was still at the Academy, she landed her first lead role in the short film "The Kiss". While her initial focus was acting, Marie-Noelle quickly realized her love for movies extended far beyond the craft of acting, and in 2002 she began working in film production as well. Over the last two decades, Marie-Noelle has performed in over 43 film and theater projects, written several screenplays including the first 33 episodes of a short-form drama series titled After Hours. In 2010 she made her directing debut with the pilot episode for After Hours which she produced as well. She has since continued to grow as a filmmaker, launching Entity Media Entertainment in 2013. Marie-Noelle also continues her work as an actor in Los Angeles and is an Alumna of Jim Jarrett's Meisner Technique Studio and of Playhouse West.
