John Matthews

Even though he shares his name in common with others John Matthews, this one is definitely special since he only appeared in one movie, which was the classic Sleuth (1972), where he plays a Sergeant. In fact, he does not appear in the movie at all and in fact he doesn't exist. Matthews is a case of credit only so the film producers can play a prank on audiences thinking that the movie has more stars besides Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine.
