Dallas Miller

Hailing from a multi-racial background and spending the bulk of his formative years between Vancouver, BC Canada and the southeastern US his artistic pursuits are highly influenced by a sensitivity to and appreciation for diversity. Dallas's interest in giving voice to the plight of the mentally impaired began many years ago with the birth of his profoundly autistic nephew. His time with his nephew shaped many of his academic pursuits, so much so that he studied psychology at university in order to add his name to the ranks of those in search of answers to this most perplexing issue. He also studied dramatic arts in a parallel course in order to fulfill the nagging artistic desire. After graduation Dallas moved to Washington DC where he starred at many regional and national theatre houses including, the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, The Kennedy Center and the Studio Theatre. All while professionally practicing Psychodrama; an alternative therapy method. He has worked as an underwear model for various sportswear catalogs and has also been seen in many regional commercials and industrials. He has a full writing resume as well, including productions and staged reading of some of his theatrical plays.
