She is a producer of documentaries and one of the first women boom operators in Hollywood, sustaining a 40-year career. She is known "Spy Kids" (2001), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996), and "Killers of the Flower Moon" (2023). She is on the sound team double Oscar-nominated for "Once Upon a Time ...in Hollywood" and "Ad Astra." She is the author of the multi-award winning production sound book "Behind the Sound Cart: A Veteran's Guide to Sound on the Set", "Beneath the Boom Pole: The Art & Science of Boom Operating for Movies & TV" and the upcoming "Inside the Set: How to keep a Job Long Enough to Have a Career." She lectures and teaches at film schools around the world, including NFTS (England), Univ. of Greenwich, Kerry College (Ireland), Jao Tung University - Shanghai, Beijing Film Academy, Westerdahl (Norway), MIMEC (Mexico), AMPAS Gold Program, more. She is a chocolatier, is taking Bollywood dance lessons and has the idea for the sequel to "Titanic."
