Joe Ritchie was the only child of Bud Ritchie (Joseph Boon)a vaudeville artist born in Liverpool to oil cloth merchant Charles Boon. Was both a stage and TV actor appearing as a leading man on the stage in his early years. He suffered from Parkinson's disease towards the end of his life. He was married and divorced. Joe died 11 February 1988 in London England.
