Olvido Rodriguez Calvo, better known as Olvido Rodríguez, was born in Seville, was the daughter of comedian and director born in Cuba (Spain), Lino Rodríguez,; her sister, Blanca, was also vicetiple. She was one of the best-known musical comedy and magazine stars of the Spanish Republic (1931-1936), in the post-war period of Spain (1940-1950). She became a verse actress and formed her own company with the Bardem-Muñoz Sampedro acting in Barcelona. In the sixties it was definitively removed from the scene.
