Torrie Rosenzweig began working in the entertainment industry as a union camera assistant and was the cinematographer on several short films including a documentary on David Mamet and The Atlantic Theater Company. Rosenzweig moved out of the camera crew and into development and producing and Associate Produced two "Cagney and Lacey "reunion television specials for CBS. Soon after she began working in non-fiction as a researcher and associate producer on several PBS documentaries and biopics for TNT, ESPN, and The Disney Channel with E.M.K and 12th Street Productions. Rosenzweig went on to 20th Century Fox / Van Ness Films to produce and direct several seasons of "Biography" for A&E. Some of her credits include episodes on Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Ida Lupino, Andy Griffith, Shirley Temple and Bill Bojangles Robinson; among episodes she oversaw as a staff producer. Following her time at Fox/Van Ness, she directed, produced, and co-wrote the documentary feature film, "Smoke and Mirrors, A History of Denial", which won several awards on the film festival circuit, including being named a shortlist finalist for Best Documentary for the Academy Awards. She segment produced "Fifty Years of Late Night" and "NBC 75th Anniversary Special" for Executive Producers Lorne Michael, Andrew Solt and NBC. Rosenzweig participated in the prestigious 'AFI Directing Workshop for Women' professional workshop, where she made her first narrative short film, "Wishing Time" with Seymour Cassel and Natasha Gregson Wagner. After finishing a television documentary special, "Just the Facts" for 20th Television, she began working on a documentary, "Tick Tock" - a work in progress. Rosenzweig worked fifteen years as a part-time professor and the Director of Talent Development at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, leaving in 2021 to pursue other projects outside of the school. She is still an Adjunct Professor at the university, a member of the Television Academy for Arts and Sciences, The Alliance of Women Directors and the Dramatist Guild. She is an avid theater supporter and is writing her first play for the stage, titled "No Judgement."
