Michael Francis Sabga De Silva was born in Caracas, Venezuela where he grew up happily thanks to his loving parents Tony and Jean Sabga. There he attended school until graduating from San Ignacio De Loyola High School in 1984. During this time, he also became heavily involved in the Venezuelan Boy Scouts Group called 'Siguanoi 65' for about 10 years, starting at age 7 as a Cub Scout and later becoming an Eagle Scout with many con-decorations and badges. A devout Evangelical and Born-again Christian, Michael dedicated all his future work and successes to the advancement of the Kingdom of Heaven and his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. In 1984, he was honored to receive a Venezuelan Government scholarship to attend Film School in Los Angeles, CA. He attended San Diego State University School of Film/Drama, obtaining a Minor in Arts. Additionally attended Fresno State University Film School, completing there his B.A. Degree in Film Production. Also, Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach,CA, where he first started and obtained an A.A. Degree in TV & Film Production. Recently, in 2007, he completed the 2-year acting program at the world famous Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts in North Hollywood, California, with instructor Martin Barter. Also attended for 9 years the advanced Opera Voice Training program at the Frederic De Marseille Voice Studio in North Hollywood & Orange County, CA. Michael Sabga, known in the worldwide film industry as '3D Mike' has been working since the early 1990s as a 2D and 3D digital computer animator, video playback operator, and 24-frame video & computer guru in a long list of Feature Films, Television Shows and Commercials, some of which can be seen in his IMDB page. After his hiring in 1996 at the famed Hollywood Video and Animation house 'E=mc2, Inc.' his career took an upward turn when he luckily worked under the supervision and training of Paul LeBlanc ( currently of Symbient), Hollywood's top animator, as well as Marty Brenneis of George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic. After a 10 year run at E=mc2, Michael Sabga founded '3D Mike LLC' in Hollywood, CA, and began creating one of the top Video and Animation Playback houses in the film industry, establishing a presence in other states such as Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Arkansas, the Carolinas, New York, Pennsilvannia and Texas. In 2014, 3D Mike LLC moved its operations headquarters to New Orleans, Louisiana in order to meet the demand of the growing film industry there. He enjoyed working in TV Episodic shows such as 'NCIS:New Orleans' and 'Star Crossed' as well as high adventure films like 'American Ultra' and "Logan', the last episode of the Wolverine saga. Most of all he and his wife Annie were very pleased and excited with their life in New Orleans, broadcasting the message that it is simply America's greatest city! The 'easy-going' attitude of New Orleaneans, mixed with the high culture and food, combined with the hard working spirit of its residents makes it one of the best places in the world to produce films and TV shows, and furthermore 3D Mike is highly honored to be part of the ever-booming New Orleans film industry. 3D Mike has also become heavily involved in training the next generation of video and computer playback operators. By being headquartered in the UNO (University of New Orleans)-operated facility known as the 'NIMS Film Production Center' (Named after Robert Nimms) 3D Mike has been bridging the gap between UNO students and the film industry by offering internships and one-on-one training, which eventually lead to real jobs in film and TV, and developing a real perpetuity of talents which will then sustain the ever growing New Orleans film industry. During his Hollywood years, Michael created the same school-to-work bridge between USC and UCLA students and the film industry. In 2017, 3D Mike and Annie moved to St. Augustine, Florida to help rebuild a small boutique custom-home developer and builder. He currently supervises 3 properties in North Florida and has been instrumental in reviving the 55-plus community 'Villages of Seloy', restoring the finances of this once troubled company, putting together an A-plus team of construction and management personnel, and creating uplifting and awe-inspiring gardens, landscaping, walking paths and lakes, turning this community around and making it the best place to live in all of St. Augustine, and even Northern Florida. Michael is now also a hi-level educator and influencer in the political and electoral circles of North Florida, with the goal of helping responsible, conservative and constitutional candidates win local, statewide and federal races and offices.
