Katie Saylor, a Connecticut native adopted as a baby by women's clothing designer Larry Aldrich. Her adoptive father also became the founder of the innovative Aldrich Museum for Contemporary Art. Katie made her entrance into the performing arts studying with the American Theater Wing, Academy of Dramatic Arts, both in New York City. And as well, the Actors Lab in San Francisco. She was a student of renowned acting coaches Sandy Meisner and Eve Collier. Katie appeared in several off-Broadway plays, and then went to find her star off in Hollywood, early 1970s. She was featured in a string of low budget Sexpolitation films, well-tailored for Drive-In audiences of the time. And of which, several have since become cult classics. She eventually landed a more respectable lead role on American Prime Time television, just before prematurely retiring in 1977.
