For over 36 years, this well-respected Charlottean Cinematographer has been an award-winning pioneer in the field of high definition video and post-production. His work has taken him to five continents and twenty countries. Two of his independent feature films - "The Last Passport" (2009) and "Redneck Roots" (2011) - were nominees at numerous film festivals. Besides, his short "Gothic Truth" (2016) won several awards in multiple prestigious venues, as well as his other short films "Mike" (2019), "Giving Christmas" (2017), and Prophet (2016). Since founding his production company in 2004, Steve put their HD talents to work in diverse TV series, documentaries, music videos, and TV commercials for a myriad of clients such as History Channel, National Geographic, HGTV, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Ally Bank, Carolinas Health Care, NASCAR, Sports Illustrated, Campbell soup, KFC, Bojangles, US Army PSA, Snyder Lance, IBM, and Oscar Meyer among others In fact, Steve earned his Cinematographer chops early on at various local television news outlets and later as a special projects shooter and editor with NBC. A journey that took him through five Olympics, six NBC Christmas Specials, three Republican and Democratic National Conventions and even two trips with then Pope John Paul II.
