Garret Savage is a producer, editor, and president/co-founder of the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship. His documentary editing credits include the Peabody Award-winning "My Perestroika" (Sundance Film Festival ), HBO's "How Democracy Works Now" series, and "Ready, Set, Bag!" He is a producer of the feature documentary "One October," and an associate producer of the Emmy-nominated "Pressure Cooker." He has edited projects for Paramount Pictures, ABC/ESPN, Discovery, IFC, AMC, MTV, and more. Garret is a Sundance Documentary Lab Fellow, was the Program Director of the Nantucket Film Festival's Teen View Film Lab, and has taught documentary editing at NYU.
