Schulberg has broad industry experience in film and television, having worked both sides of the Atlantic on more than 200 films, television movies and miniseries, in functions ranging from producing to production supervisor, line producing, unit managing and location managing, to marketing, development, screenwriting & creative. In 2017, Schulberg produced "Wastecase," the debut feature by emerging director, Vito Angelo, which is currently going through the festival circuit. His company Glade Runner has the presentation credit. Schulberg is also a seasoned screenwriter who has served as script doctor, often non credited, for American, European and Asian film and television projects. Schulberg has made occasional forays into the music business, having helped launch the European market for platinum-selling Portland orchestra, Pink Martini, and managing Grammy-nominated (Brazilian Girls) European-born singer, Sabina Sciubba for five years. In addition to his entertainment activities, Schulberg works extensively pro bono in the realm of grass roots activism, as a leading member of Collier Freedom, the organization behind both Naples Women's Marches (2017 & 2018), The Tax March, The First Naples Pride, as well as vigils, screenings, demonstrations, conferences, workshops, rallies and marches for causes such as Racial Justice, Environmental Protection, Healthcare, LGBTQ rights, Immigrant Rights... and Sensible Gun Legislation. In addition, Schulberg sits on the Steering Committee for the Collier County Democratic Party and serves as its Precinct Captain Coordinator. Schulberg holds a B.F.A. in Directing from Carnegie-Mellon University's school of theater. He has been guest lecturer at Columbia University, NYU and University of Miami Graduate Film Schools. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Lorenzo Walker Technical College Media Dept. and has been invited to participate in the Cinemart Producer's Panel at the Rotterdam International Film Festival for three years and was also invited to the inaugural Berlin Film Festival co-production market. Additionally, he twice served on the jury of the Avignon/New York Film Festival and is a member of the European Film Academy. Schulberg is a third-generation film executive. His grandfather, B.P. Schulberg, produced over 50 films, including the first film to win the Academy Award, Wings(1927) and ran Paramount Studios during Hollywood's Golden Era from 1927 until 1935. His father, Stuart Schulberg, was an independent producer/director and prominent television producer who served for ten years as executive producer of The Today Show. His uncle, Budd Schulberg, penned the screenplay for On The Waterfront (8 Academy Awards) and wrote the seminal Hollywood novel, What Makes Sammy Run?
