Peter Scollin

Peter Scollin was born in Australia in 1953 and lived there until he came to Europe in search of fame and fortune at the age of 28. Some 20 years later he is still there, neither rich nor famous but he does have a beautiful wife, three beautiful children and two budgies. Together with his wife Anja, he runs the Platypus Theater. He acts, writes, directs, conducts workshops, answers telephones, sets up stages, writes grant applications etc. it's a many sided job, sometimes he loves it and sometimes it drives him crazy and he dreams of doing something simpler, like being a postman. But deep down he is proud of what he has achieved over the years and he does love the "entertainment business". Every now and then he does T.V. and film. He usually plays some sort of bad guy, like an Irish or South African terrorist or a trigger-happy American football coach.
