Peter-Scott Steven Palmer was born and raised in Hayward, California, an urban city just south of Oakland, California. He attended James Logan High School, where he developed an interest in rap music. As he made contacts in the Hayward rap scene, he began to be known as a producer of tracks for local rappers. He soon came into contact with Jose and Eduardo Quiroz as the filmmakers were producing their first film. In their second film production Paper Napkins, Peter-Scott Palmer had a role in that film as well as the next three Quiroz brothers films. The later films were focused on Hisopanic gangster themes, and Peter-Scott was generally cast as the white victim-type character. Peter later focused on his musical career, producing music for local artists and becoming a fairly well-known local celebrity in the Hayward rap scene. He has produced several albums and has been featured on a number of compilation albums with other artists under the stage name Studio Pete. His most well known songs are "Thrift Store Kid" and "I'm Broke."
