Sally Parr

Sally Parr was born on May 13, 1925 in Dallas, Tx as Sally Carmichael. Sally was an actress, known for Sun Sets at Dawn (1950) and Stars Over Hollywood (1950). She Graduated from Polytechnic High School Ft Worth, Tx and Graduated from University of Texas majoring in English and minor in Film. Sally appeared in Summerstock in Pasedena, Ca with Ramond Burr. Sally married Richard Parr while living in California and had two sons Richard and Stephen. Divorced Richard in 1955 and moved back to Ft Worth. Sally became an announcer at KFJZ TV (now KTVT Channel 11), an independent station, and appeared as a late-night movie hostess. Sally married Edward Van Name in 1957 and became a military spouse. The children were adopted. Sally, while raising children, acted in plays in the local community theaters in Oklahoma City and Ft Worth. Sally was diagnosed with Parkinsons and died June 23, 2007 in Ft Worth, Tx.
