Kelsey Leigh performed as a recurring guest on "Days of Our Lives" from 1997-2003. During those years she became a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and judged the Millennium Emmy Awards (2000). Prior to her years on "Days of Our Lives", she has film & television credits under both her birth name (Debb Lee Phillips) and married name (Debb Leigh Stotesbery). She first relocated out to Los Angeles in 1991 after obtaining her BFA in Film. Hauling all her belongings in a Uhaul the day after graduation; with no job, place to live, or contacts; just the open road of opportunities. Her luck landed her a film within 5 days. Hired as a free intern, within weeks she ended up as the paid Production Coordinator of a Menahem Golan film (21st Century Films) entitled "Crazy Joe". Networking gained her an invitation to join the crew of "Wonder Years" in its final season as a set lighting technician, which resulted in her joining the union I.A.T.SE local 728. This led to years of working behind the scenes from television's "Beverly Hills 90210" to major features including "True Lies" before her crossing over to the other side of the camera as many actors have done. Bill Paxton included, whom is responsible for her being pulled off a lamp on set to play his wife in the film "Monolith" in which she gained her SAG card. After that is was off to more films, television and joining AFTRA and enjoying the years and the cast on "Days".
