Francesca Piri was the first who left the house of "Grande Fratello", the Italian version of "Big Brother", in September 2000. Francesca was born in 1976 to Angela and Lucio Piri. Her father is a former postman and her mother is a midwife in Galatina. Her brother, Luca, is a lawyer. After high school, Francesca studied Archaeology, English and Arabic at University for a while. After that, she attended a beautician professional course and in early 2000 she auditioned for "Grande Fratello". Francesca stayed in the house (built in Cinecittà, Rome) for two weeks only, but the big publicity helped her artistic career: in October, Italian director Salvatore Arimatea call her for a small part in the film "Imprinting". So Francesca started to study acting professionally, to be prepared for the filming. During her acting classes, Fracesca became an official host in well-known Sunday talk show "Buona Domenica" and other Italian talk shows.
