Sacha Puttnam graduated from Berklee College of Music (Bachelors in Composition) and the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (Conducting and Composition) with honours. Having completed his classical and jazz training he began orchestrating for renown film composer Michael Kamen (Die Hard, Robin Hood, Lethal Weapon) and touring the world with Bush, Muse and Moby among others. Puttnam's comprehensive experience in many music genres shows in his imaginative and sensitive scoring of over 30 films (working with directors including John Dryden, Robert le Page, Andrea Arnold and John Pilger), numerous award winning BBC radio dramas and platinum podcasts, as well as his sensitive re-working of classic film music and writing for some of the pop, rock and DJ world's biggest names.
