John Arthur Rarig was born on May 23, 1912, in Mercer Island, Washington, USA. John started out in radio working with Phil Harris, Jack Benny, and Meredith Willson. Also worked with organizing and sometimes a singer with the Sportsmen Quartet on Jack Benny's television show. John also was the organizer and bandleader on Doris Day's first album. He is known for his work on Lady and the Tramp (1955), Sleeping Beauty (1959), and Mr. & Mrs. North (1952). He was married to Jean. He died on January 2, 1991, in Mariposa, California, USA.
