Adam Reed is CEO of Thinkfactory Media, an ITV America company based in Los Angeles that produces an array of unscripted and scripted content for television networks and streaming platforms. A veteran producer, Reed balances his creative prowess and business acumen in helming Thinkfactory, overseeing the company's robust production and development slate, which includes WE tv's Marriage Boot Camp franchise - encompassing multiple spinoffs - and Lifetime's upcoming My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera, among many others. Reed previously served as president of Thinkfactory, and in his 13+ years with the company, he's helped grow the full-service production house into a preeminent network supplier - shepherding hit series in nearly every unscripted genre, from Mama June: From Not to Hot, which debuted as the highest-rated series premiere in WE tv network history, and Million Dollar Matchmaker, to TV One's Divas franchise and A & E's Gene Simmons' Family Jewels. Reed joined Thinkfactory in 2005 as showrunner of Family Jewels, which he co-created with Simmons and former Thinkfactory Media CEO Leslie Greif. Reed went on to executive produce seven seasons of the hit show and more than 150 episodes. Other series he has developed and executive produced for Thinkfactory include: Lifetime's Preacher's Daughters and Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le; The Donner Party: Dead of Winter for The Weather Channel; Married by Mom & Dad and Strange Love for TLC; Rookies for A & E; Dogg after Dark, hosted by Snoop Dogg, for MTV; and many more. In 2011, Reed became the youngest producer ever to be included in The Hollywood Reporter's "Reality Power List." Prior to Thinkfactory, Reed made his mark in the commercial industry by creating and directing the largest campaign in the history of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, garnering international acclaim as it became one of the most successful commercial campaigns ever created. In addition, he was shortlisted at the Cannes International Advertising Festival for a spot he directed for the Philadelphia Phillies, and he continues to work with some of the world's largest advertising agencies on commercial spots and branded entertainment content. Reed is also an accomplished author, with two published children's books. His first, titled Bee in the Sea, was awarded three first-place Royal Dragonfly Awards, including Best New Author, and was named the 2016 Finalist in Next Gen's Indie Book Awards. Meanwhile, his most recent book (and plush set), Reindeer in Here, has become a holiday sensation and is now the most awarded Christmas tradition brand ever. Reed lives with his wife and two children.
