Mike Reagan is a Composer, Songwriter, and Music Producer for Film, Television, and Interactive Media. His music has been recognized with an Interactive Academy Award, Grammy Award and Annie Nomination, to name a few. Mike blends classical orchestral forms and world music with a hybrid twist of pop, electronic and acoustic elements. His hands-on approach as a multi-instrumentalist enables quick experimentation, as Mike plays keyboards, bass, guitars, drums, and percussion, but he's also a wiz in the studio as a programmer and synthesist, commanding an array of analog toys and customized music software. This blend of artistic talent and masterful use of studio technology is Mike's launchpad for innovation that continues to impress storytellers across all forms of entertainment. Following his studies of guitar, composition, and music synthesis on scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Mike began his professional career as a Sound Designer at Soundelux, Hollywood. Learning from a team of world-renown Sound Designers, he soon discovered a passion for blurring the lines between Score and Sound, creating a unique style that was recognized with an Academy Award nomination for Sound Design in John Woo's FACE/OFF. Mike soon launched his music career as a composer for video games, writing several original scores for Disney, Activision, Microsoft, Universal, and Sony Computer Entertainment including the God of War and Twisted Metal Franchises, as well as iconic properties such as Conan, The Transformers, Darkwatch, Darksiders, Marvel's Spider-Man, and many others. His music has been recorded at Skywalker Sound, Abbey Road, Capitol Records, Larrabee Studios, and with the Seattle Sinfonia, Prague and Bratislava Philharmonic Orchestras. Mike began his songwriting career creating original songs for Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday ("Miami Sharks Theme Song") and Sony Pictures/Jim Henson's Elmo in Grouchland ("Take the First Step"), which won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Soundtrack. Mike has also written and produced Main Title theme songs for Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls and Netflix' Chico Bon Bon: Monkey with a Toolbelt. As a composer and songwriter for Film, Mike wrote the original scores for Unbeatable Harold starring Henry Winkler, Magic Laptop starring Snoop Dogg, and Abby's List: a Dogumentary, which is due to be released in 2020. Mike has also written several hours of original score for Television, including Bob Boyle's Wow Wow Wubbzy, Rovio's Angry Birds Toons, Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls, and the 2020 Netflix release of Chico Bon Bon: Monkey with a Toolbelt.
