Jeff Thisted was born in Maine and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a self-admitted "Car-Guy" and he always wanted to be "America's favorite television game-show host." So upon graduating from Colorado State University with a Radio and Television-emphasized Communications degree, he moved out to Los Angeles to pursue his dream. Jeff landed a job as a production assistant on the game show "Storm the Castle" and went on to serve as a production assistant on such game shows as "Mad Libs," "Scattegories" and "Shop 'til you Drop." He later served as production coordinator for such shows as "Master's of the Maze" and "To Tell the Truth;" and as producer on the "Zooventure-LIVE! Tour with JD Roth." For the past seven years Jeff worked as the production coordinator on "The Price is Right," the longest running game-show in television history. He was delighted to be able to tell Bob Barker about landing his own gig hosting "Quiznation" and "100 Winners," both for GSN. Barker happily gave his blessing and good wishes for a long and successful hosting career. Jeff is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Thisted's credits also include a few background appearances on "JAG," "Baywatch," "Mulholland Falls" and "Independence Day." Jeff currently resides in Los Angeles with "Cisco the Wonder Mutt" and enjoys water-skiing, mountain biking and his old red Chevy.
