Emmy award-winning filmmaker Jo Throckmorton is an accomplished Producer/Director, and a highly sought-after DGA 1st AD for commercial work. In 2016 he completed his largest scale project since his feature film, "Suspicions" with the World War I experiential film, "The Meuse-Argonne Offensive." This film is installed at the American Cemetery in Romagne, France and is available widely via the internet. Jo is based in Bloomington, Indiana, and works primarily as a 1st AD on regional and national television commercials as a member of the DGA He began his career in film as the Promotions Manager (promotional item placement within the film) for John Sayle's movie, City of Hope. He worked closely with Maggie Renzi and Sarah Green in the production office on this production. After working in New York on a few films he moved to Cincinnati, OH where he became involved in live television production and eventually network-affiliate newscasts as a director.
