Rachel Tolboys

Rachel Tolboys was born in 1990 in Leeds. In 1993 she began playing Alice Bates in ITV's Emmerdale, replacing Kimberley Hewitt. In the summer of 1999, Rachel decided to leave Emmerdale and so the character of Alice was written out of the series in November. In 2001, Rachel was invited back to Emmerdale for a story which would see Alice's aunt Kathy leave the show. Rachel returned for a few weeks and made her last ever appearance on Emmerdale on 12th December 2001. Since leaving Emmerdale, Rachel focused on dancing and has had many roles. She has worked abroad, including appearing in the parades at Disneyland Paris for several months. She attended Ralph Thorseby High School in Leeds until 2007 and also attended Centre Stage Academy of Performing Arts, also in Leeds.
