Guido Trento was born in Italy and immigrated to America, settling in San Francisco, Ca. During the begining of World War II he was among the thousands of Italian Americans living in California who were rounded up and sent to intern camps spread across the country. Trento was sent to the intern camp at Missoula, Montana until 1943, when Italy surrendered to the Allies and joined them in the war against Fascism.
