Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh (20 November 1955 - 16 March 2023) was an Australian media executive and publicist. Walsh was best known for his lengthy tenure as the executive director of television at Foxtel and for his work as a sports and entertainment publicist. Walsh during his tenure at Foxtel greenlit numerous shows such as Wentworth, The Twelve, Colin from Accounts and many more. Walsh's passion was his passion for seeing content come alive on the screen. Walsh as a sports publicist coordinated the successful Simply the Best campaign for the New South Wales Rugby League NRL premiership which featured American singer Tina Turner, Walsh died 16 March 2023.
