Sham Ibrahim is a Pop Art Artist, actor, film maker, and model who is best known for his digital portraits of celebrities and timeless moments in American pop culture. Between 1999 and 2006, Sham worked as an actor making minor appearances in feature films, television shows and music videos. In 2005, Sham modeled for fashion photographer Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue as part of a fashion editorial entitled "Nightclubbing". He also opened his own nightclub in West Hollywood called Gossip and the club was featured in an article by journalist Heidi Sigmund Cuda for the Los Angeles Times. In 2009, Sham made international headlines after he did a portrait of a police photo depicting Rihannas battered face. NBC news, E! Entertainment and many other major press outlets reported on the story. His artwork of Rihanna was also published by Dr. Kelli Moore in a text book entitled Feminist Surveillance Studies, as part of a post-graduate studies course at University of California Berkeley in 2014. He has given his pop art portraits to many celebrities including Joan Collins, Paris Hilton, Lynda Carter, Tori Spelling, Lindsay Lohan, Bobby Brown, Carmen Electra, Boy George, Betsey Johnson, Debbie Harry, and Ru Paul. In 2015, he appeared on the Bravo Television show Vanderpump Rules, where he gave the stars of the show Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd portraits of themselves.
