Deborah Shannon

In addition to her work in numerous national television commercials and stage productions, Debbie has enjoyed a long career in radio doing voice-overs for commercials and as the lead role in the long-running telenovela Café. She has landed principle roles in six feature films and has starred in several television shows such as in the pilot of Dexter (Showtime), Mysteries (The BBC), Discover America (The Travel Channel), and Portraits of Faith (NBC) for which she earned an Emmy nomination. She was also featured in the Rascal Flatts music video Skin (Sarabeth) which won the CMT 2006 Group/Duo Video of the Year. She has a master's degree in creative writing from Florida International University. She wrote the feature screenplay The Color of Love which was nominated for the Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition's Spotlight Award. She lives in Manhattan.
