Mark Sikes moved from Springfield, Massachusetts to Los Angeles in 1992 and started as an intern for Roger Corman soon after arrival. He went from receptionist to casting assistant to Head of Casting in about one year for Corman. He then went on to be Head of Casting at PM Entertainment for four years. He worked for Warner Bros. Int'l on Dark Realm, a horror anthology series shot on the Isle of Man. Sikes went on to cast two films for horror legend Tobe Hooper. He also cast two films for Mark Jones (Leprechaun). Sikes served as camp director for the Icicle Creek Young Actor's Conservatory in Leavenworth, Washington. He also produced the documentary Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's The Fantastic Four. Not long after the release of the documentary, Sikes released his book, The Doomed Journal, which documented his experiences on Corman's FF and the making of his documentary. Sikes has cast over 100 films and the TV series L.A. Heat. He has produced 6 films in addition to his documentary. He will release his second book, Hollywood Made Simple, in the summer of 2020 and his third book, Casting Horror Stories, in the fall of 2020.
