Michael Singer is a writer, author, unit publicist and publicity executive who was the recipient of the 2014 Les Mason Lifetime Achievement Award from the Publicists of the International Cinematographers Guild. As a unit publicist, Singer has worked on more than 50 films for such directors as Oliver Stone, Terrence Malick, Gore Verbinski, Terry Gilliam, Rob Marshall, Scott Derrickson, Nancy Meyers, Cameron Crowe, Joel Schumacher and Joseph Kosinski. For the past decade, Singer has served as vice president, marketing and publicity for Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Television, continuing to work as unit publicist on Bruckheimer's feature film productions. Singer has also written a dozen published books about film, as well as 14 annual editions of the reference book "Michael Singer's Film Directors: A Complete Guide."
